A World Without Time
30 x 40 in | Original Oil on Canvas
In this dreamlike landscape, time loses its grip. Painted over five months, A World Without Time explores the paradox of a world free from the clock’s control, yet still touched by its quiet persistence. The arched portals open into twelve distinct hours of the day, each doorway a passage into another moment of light.
Twelve snails, subtle and deliberate, mark the rhythm of existence, each one symbolizing two hours, one AM and one PM. They serve as living clocks, reminders of the slow, inevitable crawl of time even in a place meant to transcend it.
Above the rolling Italian hills, the sky drifts through morning, noon, dusk, and night in a seamless continuum. Here, time folds upon itself. There is no decay, no rush only presence.
A reflection on patience, eternity, and the beauty found between moments.
