Is our entire country and our culture not based on being a place where we all come together no matter our differences? It is such a simple idea but it seems so far away now, always seemed far away I guess, a country of lies told to bring people here to work for the "American dream". That doesn't even exist because of the greed and individualism that our elites thrive on. So anyway bring us your tired your poor your huddled masses yearning to breathe free. So we can under pay them cripple them with debt, take everything they make and then make them feel crazy. Nothing really ends, for things to stay the same they have to change again.
And yes this is painted on a cardboard box.
Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore, Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, Tlift my lamp beside the golden door.
