My vsion of what atlantas may have looked like while it was still above water and what it stood for, his painting imagines Atlantis before its fall a mythical civilization surrounded by monumental Roman and Egyptian-inspired architecture, flowing water, and an abundance of life.

Atlantis represents humanity’s ancient dream of creating a perfect civilization. But its story also reminds us that knowledge, power, and achievement alone cannot create a truly better world.

Aquarius, the Water Bearer, represents the opposite direction: the knowledge and ideas that flow forward into the future. The water becomes a symbol of wisdom, renewal, and the possibility of starting again.

The snails throughout the city add another layer. They move slowly through this magnificent civilization, almost suggesting that progress doesn’t have to mean moving faster — it can mean moving more thoughtfully. They also connect the ancient world to the natural world surrounding it.

So “The Future Remembers” is about imagining that Atlantis wasn’t simply a civilization that was lost. Its dream survived.

Perhaps the future remembers what humanity once dreamed of and learns how to build it better the second time.

That ties beautifully into your larger Nepholokkugia idea: a world inspired by the past, but created with the hope, imagination, and values needed for a better future.
